Erich D. Priebe is an Associate with DBSH. A native of Sumner, Iowa, Erich received his undergraduate degree in Philosophy from the University of Northern Iowa, with minors in Economics and Ethics.
Erich joined the DBSH after receiving his law degree from the University of Iowa in 2014, and he is engaged in the general practice of law, including but not limited to litigation. He is admitted to practice in Iowa's state district courts, and he is currently a member of the Iowa State Bar Association, Iowa State Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division, and the Black Hawk County Bar Association.
During law school, Erich was a member of the Journal of Corporation Law editorial board, where he authored a note about federal energy regulation and policy. Erich represented the College of Law in trial advocacy and appellate advocacy moot court competitions, and he also served as a clerk for the Judge Lucy J. Gamon, an Iowa district court judge of District 8A. During his third year of law school, Erich practiced criminal law as a Student Legal Intern at the University of Iowa Legal Clinic.
Erich and his wife, Abby, have two young sons, Elijah and Greyson. When not practicing law, Erich enjoys playing music and spending time with his family.
